The World Service Fund is one of seven apportionments of The United Methodist Church. It is apportioned among the 63 annual conferences in the United States. As of January 31, 2010, the most recent financial data available, the World Service Fund had received $398,089. This represents 0.49% of our goal amount of $81,917,991 for 2010.

In 2009, $69,236,797 was remitted, in 2008, $73,508,136 was remitted, in 2007 $72,570,424 was remitted and in 2006, $69,361,531 was remitted.

The United Methodist Church is grateful to those annual conferences that faithfully remit their World Service Fund apportionment at 100 percent.

The World Service Fund apportionment is at work all around the world, working with the poor, growing congregations, working to prevent disease and nurturing leaders. These tasks take money and recommitment. It takes you.

Your congregation’s 100-percent support of the World Service Fund is life changing. Be the difference in your congregation. Through the World Service Fund, we can picture the power of lives changed. Please give generously and thoughtfully. Thank you!
