The Episcopal Fund is one of seven apportionments of The United Methodist Church. It is apportioned among the 63 annual conferences in the United States. As of January 31, 2010, the most recent financial data available, the Episcopal Fund had received $112,819. This represents 0.50% of our goal amount of $22,532,377 for 2010.
In 2009, $19,276,846 was remitted, in 2008, $19,819,091 was remitted, in 2007 $19,319,281 was remitted and in 2006, $18,423,278 was remitted.
The Episcopal Fund apportionment is imperative to the shepherds leading our church. Providing financial support enables our bishops to do the work of Christ with zest and vitality. It takes money and recommitment to make this happen. It takes you.
