One Great Hour of Sharing is one of the six churchwide Special Sundays with offerings of The United Methodist Church. Each church is encouraged to celebrate the Special Sundays. As of December 31, 2011, the most recent financial data available, the One Great Hour of Sharing offering had received $2,947,642. In 2010, $2,695,885 was remitted, in 2009, $3,111,349 was remitted, in 2008, $3,212,946 was remitted, and in 2007 $3,372,268 was remited.
