Human Relations Day is one of the six churchwide Special Sundays with offerings of The United Methodist Church. Each church is encouraged to celebrate the Special Sundays. As of June 30, 2008, the most recent financial data available, the Human Relations Day offering had received $580,315. In 2007, $623,966 was given to the Human Relations Day offering. In 2006, $673,490 was remitted to the Human Relations Day offering. $547,373 was remitted in 2005

Human Relations Day strengthens United Methodist outreach to communities in the United States and Puerto Rico, encouraging social justice and work with at-risk youth.
