Shared Ministries - Africa University Fund - Conference Remittance

The Africa University Fund is one of seven apportionments of The United Methodist Church. It is apportioned among the 63 annual conferences in the United States. As of April 30, 2012, the most recent financial data available, the Africa University Fund had received $444,727.  This represents 18.92% of our goal amount of $2,350,199 for 2012. 

In 2011, $2,274,589 was remitted, 2010, $2,175,517 was remitted, 2009, $2,173,243 was remitted and in 2008, $2,204,000 was remitted.

The Africa University Fund apportionment provides education to students all over Africa. Africa University is the only General Conference approved degree granting university in Africa. Your faithful support to the Africa University Fund helps form leaders.
