Africa University Fund is one of seven apportionments of The United Methodist Church. It is apportioned among the 63 annual conferences in the United States. As of December 31, 2011, the most recent financial data available, the
Africa University Fund had received $2,274,589. This represents 92.56% of our goal amount of $2,457,429 for 2011.
In 2010, $2,175,517 was remitted, in 2009, $2,173,243 was remitted, in 2008, $2,204,000 was remitted and in 2007, $2,259,941 was remitted.
The Africa University Fund apportionment provides education to students all over Africa. Africa University is the only General Conference approved degree granting university in Africa. Your faithful support to the Africa University Fund helps form leaders.
