“Having a master’s degree in peace and governance changed me forever,” says Alphonse Paulin Niyodusenga, a 2005 Africa University graduate from Burundi, serving at the Institute for Healing of Memories in South Africa. “Understanding the concept of conflict mediation, negotiation and leadership should bring about healing and the ability to move forward.”

United Methodist-related Africa University in Old Mutare, Zimbabwe, needs your help to continue educating men and women who shine hope into the future. Each year the university graduates superior students who become world-changing leaders in government, agriculture, the church, education, business and medicine. Africa University students are the hope of Africa.

Through the Africa University Fund apportionment, United Methodist congregations have a unique opportunity: to support the university with consistent funding each year.

When your congregation contributes 100 percent to the Africa University Fund, you educate students and nurture their hopes to become world leaders. Encourage your church to pay 100 percent of the Africa University Fund apportionment this year. Every financial gift is a gift of hope.
