Here is a way to save money without really feeling any pinch in your wallet. The secret is: Don't spend any change. Each day as you put your things away, take all the change you've collected during the day and put it in a piggy bank of some sort. Keep the bank away from kids or the plan may not work. During the day, don't spend any change you've collected during the day. Very quickly that piggy bank will start to get heavy. I start my bank just before Easter when I donate the change to the kids Easter Egg Hunt. This year I donated over $40 and never felt a thing.

This system can escalate to not spending any one dollar bills and banking them each day. This plan doesn't cost you anything it's just a way to save some of what you already have to use when and where you please. Warning: Keep these dollars hidden and you will soon have a nice stack of bills.
