HOW WE GIVE
Connectional giving — all of us giving together — allows United Methodists to do together what we cannot do alone.
When you give on Special Sundays, you enable vital ministries that change the world, one life at a time.
Every United Methodist can support the vital ministries they care about. No administrative costs are deducted.
Human Relations Day
Together, we extend a helping hand to those in crisis so they can overcome formidable obstacles.
One Great Hour Of Sharing
Together, we reach children, families and communities who have experienced devastation in the wake of disaster.
Native American Ministries Sunday
Together, we empower local spiritual development and educate Native American seminary students to serve God faithfully.
Peace with Justice Sunday
Together, we spread the gospel of peace and encourage cooperation locally, in the United States and globally.
World Communion Sunday
Together, we enable national and international graduate students to change the world.
United Methodist Student Day
Together, we educate students so they can make a difference in the world.
The World Service Fund
Serves as the financial lifeline to a long list of Christ's mission and ministry throughout the denomination.
The Africa University Fund
Transforms Africa by educating and empowering students from across the African continent.
The Black College Fund
Supports United Methodism’s historically Black colleges and universities that create vibrant spiritual environments that encourage pride and self-esteem.
The Episcopal Fund
Pays bishops’ salaries, covers their office and travel expenses and provides their pension and health-benefit coverage.
The General Administration Fund
Implements trustworthy administrative oversight, supports the legislative processes of the church and curates The United Methodist Church’s rich history.
The Interdenominational Cooperation Fund
Works in partnership with ecumenical organizations to bear witness to a common Christian faith.
The Ministerial Education Fund
Prepares men and women for effective ministry.
MORE GIVING NEEDS
You decide which program or ministry to support through The Advance. One hundred percent of every gift goes to the designated project.
When disaster strikes anywhere on Earth, United Methodists provide safe harbor to their sisters and brothers in need.
World Service Special Gifts
The 1984 General Conference approved World Service Special Gifts as a test program during the 1985-88 quadrennium, and it continues today.
United Methodist Communication Foundation
The Foundation for United Methodist Communications generates funds to inform, inspire and engage the people of God.
